The EU-funded Euromed Migration project has published a study entitled “Connecting Human Capital, Labour Markets and International Mobility: An Assessment of the Challenges in Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia”.

This study, written in Arabic, provides an understanding of labour market conditions in four Southern Mediterranean countries (Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia) and focuses on the mismatch between education and employment opportunities as one of the main reasons for migration.

The Euromed Migration project, implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development, aims to support EU Member States and the Southern Partner Countries in establishing a comprehensive, constructive and operational dialogue and co-operation framework, with a particular focus on reinforcing instruments and capacities to develop and implement evidence-based and coherent migration and international protection policies.
