Following the publication of D-Jil call for projects last month, 250 applications were received from projects of media content production.

30 projects will be pre-selected and will therefore take part in the following selection phase. North-African project representatives will gather in a hackathon in Tunis, Tunisia on 23-24 March, whereas Egyptian and Middle-Eastern ones will meet in another hackathon in Amman, Jordan, on 29-30 march.

Co-funded by the European Commission and implemented by CFI, D-Jil aims to support young citizens in the Arab world through the media. Its overall objective is to contribute to the active citizenship and empowerment of young people in the target countries of the southern neighbourhood by using online media as a vector.
