TunisiaSTAND Up! Growing Innovation Program to support 22 projects in Lebanon
Berytech, the Lebanese partner from STAND Up!, has selected 22 projects founded by 42 entrepreneurs to join the STAND Up! Growing Innovation Program. Born from the need to transition to an environmentally and socially responsible circular model in the textile sector, STAND Up will support these textile entrepreneurs and eco-innovative ventures to become more competitive, capable of seizing business opportunities and employment generated by the green revolution in the Mediterranean.
The selected 42 eco-innovative textile and fashion innovators will get the chance to build their capacities to secure investments and business opportunities and successfully take their project/business to market. The program will start with a capacity-building phase that will include training and workshops offered to the selected participants focusing on developing their Green Business Model, access to finance, access to market, and eco-design following the SwitchMed methodology.
The EU-funded STAND UP! project intends to support textile entrepreneurs and eco-innovative ventures in 5 countries (Spain, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Italy) and help them seize the business opportunities that the green evolution will generate.
