In the framework of the Mechanism to Support Integration and for Job training (Dispositif d’Accompagnement à l’Insertion et de Formation à l’Emploi – DAIFE), fifty job seekers will be supported in Setif and Algiers depending on the job needs of the companies. The results of this operation will help adjust DAIFE’s implementation modalities before its generalization.

DAIFE is implemented in the framework of the Support Programme to training-job and qualification adequacy (AFEQ) which results from the cooperation between the European Union and Algeria. This programme started on 15 September 2017 for a period of 3 years. The first component of the programme includes the adaptation of the job seekers’ profile to the skills needs of the economic sectors.

The Support Programme to training-job and qualification adequacy (AFEQ) is co-funded by the European Union (€10 million) and the Algerian government (€1 million). It aims at ensuring a better adequacy between training and employment through a better involvement of the companies in youth training and insertion. The programme will last 36 months.
