The Association for Disabled Children [L’Association de l’Enfance Handicapée (AEH)] has announced the launch of its new project “Together for everyone’s socio-economic involvement” financed by the European Union in partnership with the National Mutual Aid Regional Coordination and 06 organisations of people with disabilities and children without family support in the Souss-Massa region.

This project aims to improve access to high-quality basic services for people with disabilities using the support of guidance and assistance centres for people with disabilities (COAPH), aid from those working in social welfare establishments, the structuring of social support services and the targeting of people with disabilities in rural areas at the Souss-Massa regional level to further promote their right to access health, schooling and professional integration.

The project, which will run for two years, covers several activities, including campaigns to raise awareness of disability within the region, training workshops on good practices for increasing the capacity of social workers, and the networking of stakeholders working in the field of disability in order to strengthen the synergies between the resource people involved in facilitating the participation of people with disabilities.
