A brand new season of the Interreg podcast ‘This Is Europe’ premiered with an online party on 22 September (10:00-10:30, CET).At the party participants will discover some anecdotes from behind the scenes and get to meet the podcast’s host, broadcaster and academic Shahidha Bari.
Across this new podcast series, participants will hear how the Interreg community works with everyone from refugees to reuse pioneers, musicians to doctors, forging stronger bonds across borders, tackling pressing issues such as food sustainability and green mobility.
Host Shahidha Bari talks to the Europeans whose lives have been transformed by Interreg – a community that was created in a spirit of knowledge-sharing and collaborative thinking both within the EU and beyond to help create a peaceful and prosperous union.
Interreg Europe helps regional and local governments across Europe to develop and deliver better policy. It creates an environment and opportunities for sharing solutions and policy learning and aims to make sure that government investment, innovation and implementation efforts all lead to integrated and sustainable impact for people and place.
