The Anna Lindh Foundation launched its brand new interactive digital game on intercultural citizenship education especially designed to be used by educators and youth. The game includes 11 activities, mostly taken from the Anna Lindh Education Handbook Intercultural Citizenship Education in the Euro-Mediterranean Region.

“We can see that 88% of respondents in Europe and 95% in the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean think that digital technology can play an important role in facilitating dialogue between people from different cultures. Furthermore, 83% of Europeans and 89% of respondents in the Southern Mediterranean also think that skills for intercultural dialogue can be enhanced via digital tools” Eleonora Insalaco, Head of Operations and Intercultural Research, said during the launch of the game.

The launch of the digital game takes place during the final evaluation session of the Virtual Regional Training for Trainers on Intercultural Citizenship Education organised by the ALF between May and June 2021.

The Anna Lindh Foundation is an organisation shared and resourced by forty-three Euro-Mediterranean countries with the mandate to bring people together and promote intercultural dialogue. With its headquarters in Alexandria, the Anna Lindh Foundation runs a EuroMed network of over 4000 civil society organisations with the aim of facilitating their collaborations and common actions.
