EU-funded EBSOMED project addresses the issue of internationalisation as a booster for small and medium enterprises’ growth

In the framework of the EU-funded EBSOMED project, Promos Italia, with the coordination of EUROCHAMBRES, will organize the Business Support Organisations (BSO) Management Academy “Internationalisation as a booster for small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) Growth” in Ravenna, Italy, on 5-6 December 2019.

The EBSOMED Academy is focusing on internationalisation as a booster for SME’s Growth and aims at:

  • exchanging ideas, experiences, methodologies and best practices among EU-Med BSOs;
  • deepening technical issues related to internationalisation, as the ADR and the creation/enhancement of network among SMEs (clusters, cooperatives, districts, network for export, etc.);
  • providing information and insight to BSOs on how to support SMEs’ internationalisation and how to design effective tools / services to foster export.

Around 50 participants from the target countries will be selected to participate in the Academy.

Co-financed by the European Commission, EBSOMED is a 4-year project which was officially launched in June 2018 in Tunis. The project aims at boosting the Mediterranean business ecosystem and promoting inclusive economic growth and job creation, by enhancing the private sector environment and namely the Business Support Organisations in the Southern Neighbourhood countries.
