The Digital Africa campus has launched its program, the Resilient Summer School, a cycle of seven free Masterclasses on entrepreneurial resilience in times of crisis in Africa, co-designed and delivered with their partners, including ANIMA Investment Network through THE NEXT SOCIETY and DiafrikInvest initiatives. This cycle of Masterclasses will focus on the drivers of business development and will address the themes of financial strategy, branding and communication.

The first session of Masterclasses, given on 7 July was provided by Emerging Valley and Partners and presented African Tech’s innovation tools to accelerate transformations in times of crisis.

ANIMA Investment Network, through its programs THE NEXT SOCIETY and DiafrikInvest, will lead the second session of Masterclasses entitled “How to communicate and re-evaluate your fundraising in times of crisis” on 16 July at 16:00 GMT.

The Resilient Summer School also includes a “Meet An Entrepreneur” online meeting programme, allowing African entrepreneurs to receive advice and share experiences from the winners of the Challenge des 1000, coming from various sectors such as agriculture, health, water, e-commerce, logistics, education, transport and mobility, energy, or waste management. They will present their journey and share their experiences during these sessions.

DiafrikInvest is 90% funded by the European Union and coordinated by ANIMA Investment Network in partnership with ACIM (France), CONECT (Tunisia), Start-up Maroc (Morocco) and CJD (Senegal). This project aims to accelerate and support the mobilisation of highly-qualified talents, entrepreneurs and investors from the diaspora in order to boost business relations between Europe, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia.
