The EU co-funded project SouthMed WiA organises a two-day training in Alicante

After its first meeting on 27-28 September 2018, SouthMed WiA organised a two-days training in Alicante on 27 and 28 October 2018. The event was hosted by Casa Mediterráneo, a public institution promoting mutual knowledge and cultural exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean Sea.

Ten representatives of the sub-granted projects and the partners of SouthMed WiA participated in this meeting which consisted of two interactive trainings on:
1. Monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning;
2. Production, marketing and distribution, film festival access with a gender perspective.

SouthMed WiA is a project co-funded by the EU that addresses issues related to the perpetuation of gender-based stereotypes and the under-representation of women in the audio-visual sector of seven Southern Mediterranean countries.
