TunisiaEgypt : Celebrate Europe Day virtually with the EU Delegation
To celebrate Europe Day 2021, the EU Delegation to Egypt is organising an online event on Sunday 9 May at 7:30 p.m.
The ceremony will start with Egypt’s national anthem, the EU’s official anthem and messages by EU Ambassador Christian Berger and Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the European Commission.
Ambassador Berger will hold a conversation about EU-Egypt relations. The attendees will learn more about other issues such as the history of the European Union flag, the EU-Egypt partnership for cultural preservation or the EU cultural activities in Egypt through the EU National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC). The European Union Youth Orchestra will offer a musical interlude during the ceremony.
