On 22 October, the Ukrainian capital Kyiv hosted consultations on the future of the Eastern Partnership (EaP).

Supported by the EU Delegation to the country, over 80 people attended the event, representing a wide range of stakeholders.

Two Young European Ambassadors (YEAs) from Ukraine also attended the event.

Special emphasis at the meeting was made on the need to develop youth sphere. Head of European Commission’s Support Group for Ukraine said that EU will take Eastern Partnership to a new level and will continue to invest in young people in the region.

The event provided a unique opportunity for the stakeholders to take part in the development of the future of the Eastern Partnership by presenting their views and reflections on the initiative.

The consultation process was a part of the informal exchanges with a wide range of stakeholders from EU Member States and partner countries, which were launched at the High-Level Conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) this May in Brussels.
