In May, the European Training Foundation (ETF) launched the Innovation and Skills Award. The aim of the award is to identify examples of good practice in the development of digital competences.
The competition is open to all vocational schools, universities, training centres and providers. Candidates from ETF partner countries, including the six Eastern partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine), are eligible to apply.
Successful applicants will be selected based on their national, regional or organisational context and the relevance of their good practice example to this context. Learning design and new/innovative approaches to the development of digital competences are the key selection criteria.
In October, the selection committee will announce the top two finalists, allowing the public to pick the winner via an online vote ahead of the EU Vocational Skills Week 2020.
