On 15 September, EU Ambassador to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin visited the village of Krashen (north-west Armenia), where the EU4Business grantee Berlin Art Hotel plans to establish an eco lodge. The accommodation will allow guests to relax, eat organic food, hike, ski and work out in the open-air sports area. The lodge aims to promote Krashen as an all-year recreational destination.

The ‘EU4Business’ initiative has allocated grants to support tourism ventures in the northern regions of Armenia during the pandemic. The grants have been provided to 30 individual business operators and consortia by the project ‘Innovative Tourism for Armenia’, which is implemented by GIZ Armenia.
