EU and European Investment Bank help remedy consequences of conflict in eastern Ukraine

The European Investment Bank is helping to remedy the consequences of the conflict in eastern Ukraine through the ‘Early Recovery’ programme.

The assistance includes rehabilitation of municipal and social infrastructures mainly in the regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

According to the information on the Facebook page of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, over 4 million residents of Ukraine, including nearly 600,000 internally displaced persons and people from other vulnerable groups, have already benefited from the programme.

The ‘Early Recovery’ programme is implemented in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine and the EU.
